FDZ Education: Specialist Forum on Web Analysis on 15 October 2024

The Information Centre for Education is organising a specialist forum on web analysis which will take place at the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education in Frankfurt am Main on 15 October 2024 from 10:00 to 16:00.

The symposium is aimed specifically at experienced practitioners and strategists in web analysis.

In the morning, Tom Alby will explore the question of what web analysis users really need in order to utilise their data profitably. In his presentation, Stefan Keil from the agency get:traction will talk about use cases from web analysis and will use concrete examples to show pitfalls that need to be considered when implementing Matomo.

The afternoon continues with three parallel, interactive workshops: Manuela Hiller, Robina Mohammad, Alexander Schuster from the DIPF invite you to an exchange on target definition and key performance indicators. Lawyer Prof Dr Jürgen W. Goebel will provide insights into selected data protection issues relating to web analysis. Dr Johannes Breuer from GESIS will discuss with you possibilities for research with web and social media data.
