69th Meeting of the German Data Forum (RatSWD) on 14 and 15 March 2014 in Berlin

This time, the focus was on the political work of the German Data Forum (RatSWD), in particular its commitment to a research data act. Discussions also centred on the involvement of expert associations not currently represented in the German Data Forum (RatSWD) in order to promote dialogue with the research communities. In addition, structural and organisational topics, such as changes to the election rules, were on the agenda. In addition, the 69th meeting bid farewell to long-standing German Data Forum member Sabine Ohsmann, who had represented the German Pension Insurance (DRV) on the German Data Forum for 10 years and has now retired. In her place, Dr. Christin Czaplicki represents the DRV in the RatSWD since 7 March 2024.

The German Data Forum’s working groups “Health Data” and “Data Trustees for Science” also met for on-site working sessions on the fringes of the 69th RatSWD meeting.
