62nd Meeting of the RatSWD on 17 and 18 February 2022

On 17 and 18 February 2022, the German Data Forum (RatSWD) met for its 62nd session and discussed, among other things, the German government’s plan to establish a data institute. It will support its implementation and actively contribute the perspectives of science and data users. During the meeting, the RatSWD also exchanged views with representatives of the specialised information services: topics and ideas for future developments were collected. In addition, it began planning the 9|KSWD (spring 2023). With a view to the science policy accents of the new federal government, the topic of data policy will be a focus of the conference.
